It's been a long, long time since a year started with all the worries we've experienced at the beginning of this 2017. Our stability has been put at risk in a local, national and international field. Trump is a few days away from the Presidency of the United States and uncertainty is got a hold of us. In México, the "Gazolinazo" has waken up anger in a part of our society that's tired of having a President who is not worthy, among many other thinsg happening around the worl.
During all of this chaos, it was opportunely presented the Pantone color of the year: GREENERY.
A green yellowish tone, fresh, revitilizing, according to the company's website. It is a color that simbolizes new beginnings and vitality.
It is amazing this oart of Design that let us understand consumer habits, why people buy what the buy, why a color sells better than another one. I think this year is a wake up call for all of us. And Pantone knew how to identify perfectly the need of a color to bring us hope, good vibes, to help us get through until december 31st of 2017. And sorround us with places and products on that direction. That's why I decided my first illustration of this 2017 had to be a composition of plants.
Sorry for my english. I promise to get better with time.
Xoxo, Carly the Beat!
